LICENSED HARDSCAPING COMPANIES

Our company is a locally owned, family operated business with years of experience crafting beautiful hardscape surfaces. You can trust us to build, repair, clean, or maintain a full range of paver surfaces, including patios, driveways, and more.

We are licensed and ICPI-certified hardscaping professionals. Our credentials and years of experience ensure a level of expertise that is difficult to come by in this industry. Whatever project you may have in mind, rest assured that no job is too complex for our team of qualified individuals.

Pavers come in an endless range of styles and can be cut to pretty much any shape. That allows homeowners to design custom patterns and surfaces for their outdoor spaces. Poured concrete, on the other hand, is not nearly as versatile. It is installed in a uniform pattern, prone to cracking, and repairs are typically costly and intrusive.

COMMON TYPES OF PAVERS

Concrete – This is the most used material for a paver patio in Vancouver, WA, because it is cheap and easy to form into any shape. No matter the style or design, the installation process is more or less the same. We guarantee a completely functional outdoor area, or any other type of concrete paver surface that requires attention to detail.

Brick – Another common paver material that we specialize in installing is brick. Hire us to turn that backyard area into a pristine patio, or to breathe new life into that neglected driveway. Clay brick pavers of any shape can be replaced with ease.

Flagstone – Even if you want a paver surface made from natural stone, we can install it using flagstones. Have broken, sunken, or weedy stone pavers? Our technicians have the means to completely rejuvenate any sort of hardscape.

SIGNS OF DETERIORATED PAVERS

Weed growth – When pavers are installed, the joints are filled with polymeric sand. While that process helps protect the structure against weeds, mother nature tends to find a way. The older a paver hardscape, the more vulnerable it is.

Faded color – Because the pigment of a paver is usually an additive not native to the material, it may fade over time. Darker pavers exposed to the sunlight are usually more prone to fading.

Unleveled surface – Pavers tend to dip or sink over time, even on naturally sloped surfaces. Excessive soil moisture or flooding can also cause pavers to loosen and create an uneven structure.

Visible cracks – As with any brick, concrete, or paved structure, pavers are prone to cracking. This can happen naturally over time or as the result of physical damage.

HARDSCAPE RESTORATION PROCESS

01. Assessment – Every paver restoration project begins with an evaluation of the surface. Our licensed experts will survey the damage or deterioration and determine the right course of action.

02. Surface cleaning – The restoration process requires us to first get rid of any moss or weeds that have grown inside the joints or surrounding surface. We use a power washer to remove the overgrowth and clean the pavers themselves.

03. Paver replacement – If your hardscape structure has any broken or sunken pavers, we will replace them with near perfect replicas and return the paver surface to like-new status.

04. Structure resealing – For any replaced pavers, as well as the whole paver structure, we will reapply polymeric sand and reseal the joints. This is a critical step to keep nature at bay.
